Privacy policy

This explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to paywallflower.com, Studio, your account, and every creator site we host.
What we collect
- Account: email, display name, handle, password hash, two-factor settings.
- Purchases: what you bought, amounts, and the IP address and device used at checkout (we keep this as chargeback evidence). Card details are entered on our payment processor's page; we only see the card brand and last four digits.
- Identity and age checks: the outcome, date of birth and name returned by our verification provider. We don't receive or store your ID images.
- Messages, comments and tips you send to creators.
- Visits: creator sites count page views without cookies, using a hash that changes daily, so visits can't be linked across days.
- Creators: payout details are held by our payout provider (and Plaid, if you link a bank); tax forms are collected by the payout provider.
Cookies
We only use cookies needed to run the service: your sign-in session, the age confirmation, and which creator's page referred you. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share with
Only processors that run parts of the service for us: hosting (Amazon Web Services), payments (card and crypto processors), identity verification, payouts, email delivery, and, when the law requires, authorities (including NCMEC reports). Creators see your handle, what you bought from them and messages you send them, never your email or card.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account exists. Purchase, tax and age-verification records for as long as the law requires (generally 7 years), without your name once you delete your account.
Your rights
From your account page you can download everything we hold about you and delete your account. You can also ask us to correct data, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information.
